Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world.  Melanoma is one of the most common causes of cancer related to death in Australian men and women. Chances are, you have known a person who has needed Melanoma treatment.  Rotary seeks to reduce this statistic.

The Rotary Club of Bay View Claremont  is working with  Rotary Clubs in Australia on fundraising efforts to support Professor Mel Ziman, Associate Dean of Edith Cowan University’s School of Medical Sciences, and the ECU Melanoma Research Group.

By financially supporting the ECU Melanoma Research Group, we believe we can have a direct practical impact on our community  as well as a global imprint on the understanding of this life-threatening disease.
